This is the next four Journal Quilts in the 2009 series - May, June, July and August.

Here is the starting point. What can you do with this lot:

This is what I have done:

May and June

July and August

They are still for the Contemporary Quilt Group Journal Quilts 2009.

The challenge was to make them 6” by 12” (15 X 30 cm), either portrait or landscape orientated.

They look great.
Just read your interview in the latest patchwork profi (in german), it had pictures of similar quilts.

Love your journal quilts. The dark borders compliment the work well and make for a very artistic cohesive statement.

Thank you all very, very much, so kind.

Margeeth, I haven't got the copy of Patchwork Professional yet - but I'm very excited, because it's the first time a magazine has done a profile on me.

For those of you who see me at The Festival of Quilts, do ask me about the magazine I carry around at all times ;O)

It was so fun to see how excited you were about your prize. WELL DONE! I am so glad for you. Thanks so much for being so brave to enter the quilt...and thanks to who ever was brave enough to chose it. It helps to make the way for others.

If you have still not found the name of the presenter, it is Margaret Walker who is from City and Guilds. She is (or was) in charge of the Creative Studies area of the City and Guilds. (like P+Q, fashion, soft furnishing, etc.)

All the best.
